Based in Houston, Texas, The Three Texan Tenors is a powerful trio of three dynamic, classically trained vocalists with strong Texas roots that run deep and shine through in their every performance. Equipped with an expansive repertoire spanning musical genres that include opera, Broadway, jazz, patriotic, popular standard, inspirational and much more, each Tenor enjoys a successful and diverse solo career and contributes collectively to this outstanding music group. Originally founded as a performing arts group to headline Opera Leggera main stage productions, the Three Texan Tenors gained wide acclaim in their own right and now perform for large audiences all across the beautiful state of Texas. Chris HollowayChris Holloway, the founder of the Three Texan Tenors group, is a native Texan tenor. Known as the ”Pavarotti of Sacred Music,” Chris has performed in opera, oratorio and recital both in the U.S. and abroad. For many years, Mr. Holloway performed operatic roles with the Houston Grand Opera and has appeared with the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra, the Houston Symphony, and many other orchestras. In Israel, Mr. Holloway performed the title role in the Israeli premiere of King David. Chris has appeared on national broadcasts of ABC, TBN, CBN, and PBS and continues traveling around the U.S. and abroad, singing in concert. In 2005, Chris and his wife, Sasha, founded Opera Leggera where he now serves as the general director.
